Deposit & Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 11, 2026

Starlight Stock Pools products are often built to order, custom-configured, freight shipped, or scheduled for installation. Because of that, deposits, cancellations, and returns work differently than standard ecommerce purchases.

Deposits

Deposits reserve your place in our production, inventory, and/or installation queue. Your deposit is applied in full toward your final invoice.

Deposit amounts:

  • Luna / Orion: $500
  • Atlas / Aurora: $750

30-Day Deposit Refund Window

Deposits are fully refundable within 30 days of payment unless one of these steps happens first:

  • materials or components are ordered for your project
  • freight or shipping is booked
  • your installation date is scheduled or confirmed

If we need to take one of those steps during the 30-day refund window, we will notify you by email before your deposit becomes non-refundable.

After 30 days, deposits are non-refundable.

Before shipment or scheduled installation, we may, at our discretion, allow your deposit to be applied to a different available package, size, or build date.

Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to soak@starlightstockpools.com.

Installation orders:
You may cancel before your installation date is scheduled or confirmed. Once your install has been scheduled or confirmed, your deposit is non-refundable.

DIY kit orders:
You may cancel before freight has been booked. Once freight has been booked, cancellation is no longer available.

If a shipment is refused after it has been sent, any applicable credit may be reduced by the original freight cost, return freight cost, and related handling charges.

Custom and Special-Order Items

The following items are generally not cancelable or returnable once ordered, produced, shipped, or installed:

  • custom-configured pool packages
  • custom wraps, insulated wrap systems, and covers
  • special-order tanks, finishes, or components
  • heaters, pumps, filters, chillers, electrical items, and other equipment ordered specifically for your project
  • other items marked custom, built-to-order, special-order, or final sale

Returns

We do not accept returns on:

  • installed pool packages
  • custom items
  • wraps and covers made for your order
  • used or installed products

Non-custom items may be eligible for return only if:

  • the return is requested and approved by us in writing in advance
  • the item is unused and uninstalled
  • the item is in original condition
  • all original parts and packaging are included
  • the item is not otherwise excluded under this policy

Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees and return freight costs.

Wrap Orders

Pool Wraps are custom items and are generally not returnable once materials have been ordered or production has started.

Because wraps include rigid insulation components and are more difficult to ship and resell without damage, they are generally not eligible for return.

If you need to cancel a wrap order, contact us in writing before materials are ordered or production begins. After that point, the order is non-cancelable and non-refundable.

If your wrap arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us in writing within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details so we can review and help resolve the issue.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If an item arrives damaged, missing, or incorrect, email soak@starlightstockpools.com within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • your name
  • order details
  • a short description of the issue
  • clear photos of the item and packaging

If damage is visible at delivery, note it with the carrier when possible.

If the issue is not reported within 48 hours, our ability to assist with freight claims, replacement, repair, or credit may be limited.

Shipping & Freight

Original shipping, freight, delivery, and access-related charges are non-refundable once incurred.

If a return is approved, return freight and related handling costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the issue was caused by our error or a verified product defect.

Third-Party Equipment and Manufacturer Warranties

Certain third-party components, including heaters, pumps, filters, chillers, electrical items, and related equipment, may be subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Returns and cancellations for these items are governed by Starlight’s policy unless otherwise stated in writing. If a third-party component has been special-ordered for your project, shipped, installed, or used, it is generally not returnable.

If a third-party component arrives damaged, incorrect, or is believed to be defective, please notify us promptly. Where applicable, warranty coverage, remedies, and claim procedures will be governed by the manufacturer’s warranty terms. We will help coordinate warranty claims where practical, but manufacturer terms control those claims.

Labor, removal, reinstallation, shipping, and related service costs may or may not be covered, depending on the manufacturer’s policy and the circumstances of the claim.
